Sweet Pea Seeds

Hardy annual, scented, cottage garden favourite.

Easy to grow from seed, sow in pots started off indoors on St. Patrick's Day, the 17th of March. Grow on a very cool windowsill or cold greenhouse and put them out in May. Dig plenty of compost into the ground before planting and support with 6ft canes in a wigwam or better still a double A-frame row of canes. Add horizontal string at the bottom of the canes to get them started. Water and feed well, pick the flowers regularly and dead-head for a summer of the most wonderful flowers.
