• They prefer somewhat acidic soils and can do very well in large containers

• Will grow to 5m+ in time

Use ericaceous compost to pot them up when small and if in larger containers. They will often grow in neutral soil in the ground when they are larger (1m+) but it's not guaranteed for some of the more delicate cultivars.
